We recently took a trip to Mexico with some friends. While we were there, my friend asked if I would do a photo session with her family. The resort we were staying at was so beautiful. If it wasn’t for the fact we ran out of sunlight and were hungry, I could have kept shooting forever!

We started out by the pool at the Grand Mayan, stopped for some pictures in the rain forest at the Grand Bliss and ended at the beaches near the Grand Luxxe. We celebrated by eating delicious gourmet burgers at The Burger Custom Made. Such a great way to end our trip! Thanks so much C family!

Hello! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Right when school got out we headed to Maui for 10 days. It was an amazing trip. We swam, relaxed, explored and enjoyed our family time together so much. We had a wonderful time creating memories. Maui is such a magical place.

I have had a few people ask me if I will be doing Fall sessions again and the answer is- YES!

I’m working out the details now. I will be offering mini sessions (quick 20 min sessions) as well as full sessions.

Fall is a very busy time here at Aimee Jordan Photography and I’m very thankful for all my clients. This will be my 6th year doing Fall sessions!

Stay tuned for details. I will be updating this blog towards the end of July with more specifics.

I thought I would end this post with a few pictures from our trip. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Take Care,
Aimee

We recently got back from an amazing vacation on the Disney Wonder cruise ship.  We had such a good time and were completely spoiled by the Disney cast members on the ship.  We were entertained and well fed for an entire week!  We started our cruise in LA and went to Puerta Vallerta and Cabo for 2 days.  I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures and memories from our trip.

The day before we boarded, we spent the day at Disneyland.  Maggie was very excited to meet her favorite princess, Rapunzel.

Here is our ship (and my sun burnt daughter)!!

The inside and outside of the beautiful Wonder

Here is my son on deck 9

I woke up early one morning before the sun came up and captured these photos…

My son relaxing in one of the giant port holes

Here are the kids enjoying the pool while watching Little Mermaid on the big screen..

The kids loved the “free” food on the ship…pizza anytime they wanted it!

One thing about cruising with Disney is there are lots of opportunities to meet the characters.  My daughter LOVED it!  We had a character breakfast one morning and all the characters stopped by our table for a meet and greet and pictures.

We cruised with some friends of ours and here is some pictures of the little girls waiting to meet the princesses wearing their princess outfits…

We played with dolphins and went on water slides in Puerta Vallerta…such a fun day in the sun!

We had fun shopping and lunching in Cabo!!

Pirate night was a highlight for us.  We had fun dressing up, participating in a pre-dinner game show, watching the pirate show on deck after dinner and my daughter can’t stop talking about Mickey zip lining between the smoke stacks and watching the fireworks.  It truly was a magical night!

My entire family enjoyed the shows each night.  The Disney Dreams show is a must see.  It was so good and very well done.

It was a sad day when we had to leave 🙁  As they say on the ship…”Goodbye, ’til we meet again”

I thought I would post about our fun trip to the coast over Labor weekend.  It was our last trip of the year now that school, soccer, basketball, flag football and dance are in full swing and we have hardly enough time to eat dinner together!  Costanoa has been somewhere we have wanted to go for awhile and now that the kids are a little older, camping is a lot easier.  Originally, we were supposed to go for 3 days, but my niece arrived a little early (more on that later) so we left a day late and spent two fun filled days on the coast with 2 other families.  While we were there, we visited Pigeon Point and ate a yummy breakfast at Duarte’s, they are well known for their artichoke soup and it did not disappoint!

Our tent bungalow inside and out…now this is my kind of camping!!

The kids had a blast running around barefoot and carefree!

So many fun memories!!

Last week my family and I spent the week in Lake Tahoe.  It was so nice to escape the heat of Folsom.  When we left it was 102!  With heat like that it’s no wonder things around here look so brown and dead.  I couldn’t get over the natural beauty found in Lake Tahoe.  Beautiful fields with wildflowers everywhere…so pretty!  I thought I would share some of my favorites with you.  Enjoy!

Over the long weekend we headed to the coast for some cooler weather and family fun!  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend.  I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

P.S. Notice no fireworks pictures…that’s because my kids fell asleep at 5pm after a fun day of swimming!
