Last week my family and I spent the week in Lake Tahoe. It was so nice to escape the heat of Folsom. When we left it was 102! With heat like that it’s no wonder things around here look so brown and dead. I couldn’t get over the natural beauty found in Lake Tahoe. Beautiful fields with wildflowers everywhere…so pretty! I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. Enjoy!

Some friends of ours came to town and they’ve been wanting pictures done since their newest son was born 2 months ago. We were up early before it got too hot and headed to a place I visit often for pictures. It was such a beautiful morning and it was so great seeing our friends.

I met up with the {G} family this morning. Although it was a little chilly and windy this morning, the lighting was so pretty and as a result I got a lot of great shots. I was so impressed with how well these two little girls did! Thanks again for a fun morning {G} family!

This little cutie has been featured on my blog a few times! She recently turned one and had her party inside The Capital so it seemed fitting for her photo shoot to be there as well!

Little Miss {M} came over this weekend for a Christmas mini session. It was a joy seeing her since the last time I saw her she was 3 months- wow, time flies! I had so much fun with her and she was all smiles until my cat paid her a visit then she would burst into tears 
It was kinda funny but just in case we kept my cat away until I
was done with the session.

First of all, I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with your families! I have a bunch of pictures I want to post from my fun weekend but I’m currently up to my eyeballs in filling orders! Today I received 6 boxes of goodies on my porch. Lots of pictures and holiday cards!
It’s always so fun to see my work in different ways. Last week I received a canvas my client ordered. Before I delivered it to her, I snapped a couple of pictures to share with you. I was so excited my client picked this image, it made for a perfect canvas! The size is 16×20 and best of all, it comes ready to hang!

I’ve been looking forward to this session for the last couple of months but at the same time I was a little nervous. The mom and I are sorority sisters and she lives in the Bay Area with her family. They drove a long way to come see me so the pressure was on! The little boy kept asking his mom and dad on the drive over, “are we there yet?” Lucky me, this family was so much fun and so easy to work with (and it was great catching up with mom too!) 
So many favorites to choose from so I’m posting a larger sneak peek that usual…enjoy!

On Sunday I met up with a few families at the park for Holiday Mini Sessions. It was such a beautiful day! Earlier in the week, I was nervous I would have to reschedule all my sessions due to rain but everything worked out…phew! It was great seeing a couple of my repeat clients as well as some new!
