My sassy little girl turns 3 today and she’s having an art party this weekend with her friends so with the help of my husband and son we were able to bring the vision I had in my head for her photo shoot alive! Considering it was hot and way past her bedtime I was impressed she did so well but when left alone to do her own thing I can usually capture some adorable moments.
Happy Birthday Sweetie!! Mommy, Daddy and Brother love you!!

Last week my family and I spent the week in Lake Tahoe. It was so nice to escape the heat of Folsom. When we left it was 102! With heat like that it’s no wonder things around here look so brown and dead. I couldn’t get over the natural beauty found in Lake Tahoe. Beautiful fields with wildflowers everywhere…so pretty! I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. Enjoy!

Wow, time flies and the {J} twins are 3 months now! This time we did an outdoor session on their beautiful property. I just love the interaction between these parents and their little daughters. We joked that the last time we took pictures it was all about trying to get them to sleep…at the same time (quite the task by the way), this time is was all about keeping them awake and happy! I think we did a pretty good job!

Over the long weekend we headed to the coast for some cooler weather and family fun! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!
P.S. Notice no fireworks pictures…that’s because my kids fell asleep at 5pm after a fun day of swimming!

Some friends of ours came to town and they’ve been wanting pictures done since their newest son was born 2 months ago. We were up early before it got too hot and headed to a place I visit often for pictures. It was such a beautiful morning and it was so great seeing our friends.

I met up with the {G} family this morning. Although it was a little chilly and windy this morning, the lighting was so pretty and as a result I got a lot of great shots. I was so impressed with how well these two little girls did! Thanks again for a fun morning {G} family!

Trip to SF | Folsom Photographer

Happy Memorial Day! This weekend my family and I took a trip to my favorite city, San Francisco. We love to take weekend trips to SF and always find something new to explore! This trip we explored Chinatown, Lomard Street and Stow Lake at Golden Gate Park. The weather was so beautiful! Here is a sample of pictures I took!

Hello! I thought I would share a few pictures from a new client of mine! Peek-Boo-Cupcakes is a new cupcake business in El Dorado Hills. The owner is so creative and can come up with just about anything you dream up. Cupcakes are great for any occasion…showers, birthdays, graduation, weddings…you name it!
As you can imagine, the best part about this job was enjoying and sampling all the wonderful creations

Little Miracles | Folsom Family Photographer

I had the honor of photographing this family in their home today. Their twin girls recently turned one and they had a lot to celebrate! Born at one pound each, these cuties spent the first 4 months of their life in the NICU. I can’t even imagine what this family has been through, I’m just so glad I could document this happy time for them! Big brother was all smiles and was so helpful…thanks {L} for being so good this morning!
I had such a hard time picking pictures for this sneak peek, I can’t wait for the family to see them all…enjoy!
