I was so excited when this family told me that they went through my blog and looked at all my “What to Wear Wednesdays” when deciding what to wear! I think they did great, don’t you? Thanks so much {M} family! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Little {O} was the most cooperative 2 1/2 year old! He would laugh so hard when his dad would do the “monkey dance”! Miss {P} is always such a great model. You may recognize her from a session I did with her earlier in the year.
When Little {O} didn’t feel like taking pictures, he would just sit there and cross his arms…it made for a cute picture!
With every session I try to do something unique for that family. This is something I have been wanting to try for sometime. We braved the rattlesnake filled fields so I could capture this sweet family moment.

These adorable sisters came over yesterday for a photo shoot. The younger sister is getting baptized soon so the mom wanted some pictures of her in her dress. We definitely picked a great time of day to do the photo shoot because they were both really good for me! Enjoy your sneak peek {M} Family!

Friday when I arrived in Utah, my very talented cousin (Matt Clayton Photography) let me tag along with him on a photo shoot! I had so much fun and was in awe with how beautiful Utah is. The mountains, the sky, the field…breathtaking scenery! Thanks so much Matt and thank you to our gorgeous models!

This past weekend I attended a workshop hosted by the fabulous Tiffany from Follow Your Art Photography in Utah. I ‘met’ Tiffany online a few years ago and have been a fan of her work ever since. When she announced she was hosting a workshop I jumped on the opportunity! It also gave me the chance to visit my family in Utah as well (more about that in Part II). I had so much fun at the workshop, met some awesome photographers and I also got to meet another online friend of mine too! Here are just some of the hundreds of images I took that day….

I always look forward to my Mini Boden catalog in the mail. I love their colorful clothes. They have a great website making it very easy to shop and I love how they show outfits! Here is a family set I put together to help all of you who are “what to wear” challenged!

I love this family….they are fun, fashionable, so easy to work with and up for anything. Last year for their Fall portraits they wanted pictures with a Fall backdrop, this year we decided to mix it up a little with an urban session in Old Sacramento. It was one of those perfect nights for taking photos… nice cool weather, slight cloud cover, just the right amount of wind, all at a great location!

Over the weekend, I was at the mall and as soon as I walked into Gap Kids my first thought was…”these little girls outfits would be PERFECT for a photo shoot!” So here they are shown with matching mom/dad outfits…

I took the weekend off from client photo shoots to go on a little getaway with my family and some friends. We had such a great time! First the beach, then San Francisco. Goodbye Summer…here comes Fall!
