Christmas Jammies Part I | Folsom Photographer

I was struggling on ideas for a Christmas photo shoot with my kids, until one day the idea of a pillow fight popped in my head! Yes, we did the photo shoot inside and yes, it was VERY messy. But after editing over 100 pictures and having a hard time narrowing down pictures for our Christmas card this year, the mess was worth it! Thanks goodness for shop vacs 
Part II will feature my adorable baby niece!

I had a busy fun October with my family. Between soccer games, flag football, dance classes, pumpkin patches and Halloween parties there was never a dull moment around here!
Here is one of my favorite pictures of my kids from Bishops Pumpkin Patch…
My daughter was Rapunzel for Halloween, I took her out one morning and took these pictures of her…
My son wasn’t to keen on pictures this year but I did manage to catch one of him in his Brian Wilson Halloween costume with his sister…

Meet the newest member of our family, my beautiful niece Violet! All 9 lbs. 4 oz. of her arrived on Sept. 2nd…she’s perfect.
After she was born, I went into the room to take some pictures.
When she was 7 days old I spent an afternoon with her capturing these photos…

Trip to the Coast | Personal Blog Post

I thought I would post about our fun trip to the coast over Labor weekend. It was our last trip of the year now that school, soccer, basketball, flag football and dance are in full swing and we have hardly enough time to eat dinner together! Costanoa has been somewhere we have wanted to go for awhile and now that the kids are a little older, camping is a lot easier. Originally, we were supposed to go for 3 days, but my niece arrived a little early (more on that later) so we left a day late and spent two fun filled days on the coast with 2 other families. While we were there, we visited Pigeon Point and ate a yummy breakfast at Duarte’s, they are well known for their artichoke soup and it did not disappoint!
Our tent bungalow inside and out…now this is my kind of camping!!
The kids had a blast running around barefoot and carefree!
So many fun memories!!

My Princess Turns FOUR!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks preparing for my daughters 4th birthday- princess style! Her party was this past weekend and she had so much fun having her girl friends from school over to our home. So many wonderful people and companies helped me out with her party (names and links at the bottom of this post). My husband and son worked so hard all week to get our backyard in shape…thank you!
Before we get to the party pictures, last month, while we were on vacation, I took Maggie’s 4 year portraits at the beach close to sunset. While we were out shopping that day, she saw this unicorn and HAD to have it. It made a great prop for her photo shoot!

This party could not have been possible without my husband, my son, my mom, my friend Lisa and her daughter Payton and my friend Abby who designed the invitations…xoxo to you all!!

We just got back from our annual trip to Lake Tahoe and I’m already missing it
